As expected, Jermaine Grandison has returned to Coventry City after his loan at Tranmere Rovers ended.

Tranmere had brought in a centre half from Ireland, so it was not a surprise when it was announced that Grandison's loan was over.

Speaking to Tranmere Player, Tranmere Boss Les Parry said of Grandison who has put in some solid performances for the Wirral based side: "Jermaine has left us today. The lads gave him a round of applause in the dressing room after the game because he has done really well for us."

Grandison, who was not involved in Tranmere's 2-1 win over Carlisle today, will be available for City's FA Cup tie against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
