Shaun Goater has said that he knows all about the Sky Blues, thanks to his agent. The man who brought the Bermudan to Highfield Road is Mark Georgovic, a big City supporter and member of the Coventry City London Supporters Club.
Goater told Clive Eakin of Radio WM after his debut at Worcester: "I've known all about Coventry City for the last fourteen or fifteen years thanks to my agent.
"I heard about how Peter Ndlovu was one of the world's great players and about how the current players play." Whenever I talk to Mark on the phone, Coventry City are always mentioned and it is a big pressure, I have had to deal with working with someone who is a Coventry fanatic."
Talking about the team's battle against relegation, Goater said: "I've been in this situation before and I'm sure that I can score goals and help the team pull through. "
