The defender who played at right back against Sheffield United, scored on Tuesday night and became the first outfield player to score for City in a Championship game this season.
"The lads said before the game that only Clinton and Besty have scored so far, so it was nice for me to get up there and get one," said Cranie to the CT.
"I think all the lads have got to chip in with the odd goal if they can because you cannot rely on just two players all season.
"So if we can all do our bit throughout the year than I am sure we will do well."
