Goal Fest In League Two Play-Offs

There were goal aplenty in the League Two play-off semi-finals that were played tonight.

The Football League showing complete disregard for travelling supporters ordered the Carlisle United V Exeter and Blackpool V Luton games to be played at 6.30pm.

Mark Cullen fired Blackpool head but Luton came back with a Danny Potts goal in the 27th minute and a Vassell goal two minutes later. Cullen scored early in the second half and completed his hat-trick in the 66th minute with a penalty to put Blackpool 3-2 up and that was how it stayed.

Exeter City at Carlisle United took a sixth minute lead through Joel Grant.

Carlisle levelled thanks to a Jordan Moore-Taylor own goal but Ryan Harley had Exeter back in front before the break.

David Wheeler hit a third for the Grecians in the 56th minute but in the 71st minute, O'Sullian pulled a goal back and two minutes later, former Coventry City forward Shaun Miller equalised to make it 3-3 and all level going onto Thursday night's game at Kenilworth Road.
