Former Coventry City striker Avun Jephcott has admitted breaking the jaw of his girlfriend's sister's boyfiend at Jumping Jaks in Coventry and will be sentenced by Coventry Crown Court.

Coventry born Jephcott was a promising striker in his City days and once scored twice against a star studded Arsenal reserve side at Barnet.

Since his release from the Sky Blues in 2004, he has played for a number of clubs including Tamworth, Notts County, Nuneaton Borough, Ards, Linfield, Rugby Town, Leamington, Coventry Sphinx, Corby Town, Worcester City, Woodford United and Stratford Town.
