Aston Villa boss Alex McLeish has said that Gary Gardner who is on loan at Coventry City is still part of his plans.
The Birmingham Mail have Gardner as only being on loan at City for 28 days not until January 3rd as sites such as City's club website have said and are quoting the Villa boss as saying: “There is every possibility Gary will come back, but we’ll see.
“I think it is a big ask to say Gary is going to be the guy who will blow everybody away. We’ve got three out on loan as it is so I suppose we are down to 21/22 players.”
Villa cannot ask for Gardner to be returned for the first twenty eight days of his loan but can recall him so any time after that.
