Funding For Sprint

The "Sprint" tram/bus scheme which will run from Kenilworth through Coventry,up past the Arena and on to Bedworth and Nuneaton has received provisional approval for funding from the Government.

The £85m for the project along with improvements in the bus services in Leamington and Warwick are part of a £1bn funding plan for the West Midlands over the next ten years.

Attendees of the Bon Jovi and Red Hot Chili Peppers gigs at the Arena, plus many City supporters have expressed dissatisifaction about the existing parking and travel arrangments to and from the Arena.
