Jordan Clarke has said that it is good to face former City players as the Coventry City player prepares to take on a Cardiff City side tomorrow night at Sixfields in a televised League Cup First Round tie.

Aron Gunnarsson could feature against his former club, but there will be no Ben Turner who is injured.

Speaking to Keiran Crowley, Clarke said: "It is always fun to play against former players and it makes both players play that little bit extra.

"It's always good to meet up with former team-mates before and after the game. Obviously, you get extremely serious during the game as you always want to beat your mates.

"It is a shame Ben Turner is injured as it would have been good to play against him."
