Fulop Hopes Slim

Coventry City look to have little chance of signing Marton Fulop after the Hungarian keeper put in a good performance in a pre-season friendly.

Fulop played for Spurs against Nice and pulled off a strong of saves which prompted Martin Jol,himself a former Sky Blue to comment: “Marton Fulop was second to none against Nice. “He's our third goalkeeper and he did very well.
“He's a young player and he wants to play – he did that last season when we put him on loan a couple of times and he did well at Coventry City.

“He's such a great talent, very young for a goalkeeper and if there is a problem at our club with Paul Robinson, for example, it's great to know we have the likes of Radek Cerny and Marton.”
