Coventry City's Aron Gunnarsson is wanted by Fulham who are prepared to bid £1.5m according to reports in the media this morning.

Gunnarsson again has said he is going nowhere however, and made it clear that he will sign the deal offered to him by the Sky Blues.

"I am really happy at Coventry," said Gunnarsson, who is the Covsupport News Service Young Player Of The Year winner for 2009 to the CT. "I haven't had an offer yet but if they offer me something in the summer I will really think about it and definitely sign it if it is good enough for me and good for the club.

"I like it here and I am playing every week. "I am 19 years old and although I am doing well I have to progress as a player and I can do it here instead of going to the Premier League and being on the bench. That's my thinking and I am going to stay.

"I didn't think I would have played as much as I have and even if I say it myself, I have done great to be honest and the manager can't take me out of the team.

"It is always easy to take the youngest guy off the pitch but he hasn't done it and I am really happy."
