Coventry City defender Danny Fox has been talking about his third successive goal from a free kick, which came last night in City's 2-1 win at Charlton Athletic.

Fox, who scored and was involved in the other two goals said to the club website: "We'd all been having a few practise free kick in training at Millwall's training ground ahead of the game and I was the only one who wasn't hitting the target.

"Aron Gunnarsson and Robbie Simpson were both banging them in and the only thing I was hitting was the cars in the car park.

"But I noticed the 'keeper had only put two in the wall and I just thought I was going to let loose so I was delighted when it went in.

"I gave away a penalty at the other end and then looked at the clock and realised it was only a minute into the second half and I felt abit like I'd let the lads down.

"So it was great to go up the other end almost straight away and score the winner. It felt like I'd redeemed myself a little bit."
