Four Goals For Leon Clarke

Former Coventry City striker Leon Clarke scored four times for Sheffield United this afternoon.

Clarke scored in the 53rd minute, 76th minute, 80th minute and 88th minute as The Blade came from behind to beat Hull City 4-1.

Amongst some of the other former City players on target were:

Former loanees Gary Madine and Adam Armstrong scored for Bolton in a 2-1 win over Norwich City.

David McGoldrick scored in the 49th minute of Ipswich Town's 3-0 win over Preston North End.

Former City striker Marvin Sordell scored the only goal of the game as Burton Albion won 1-0 at Millwall.

Former City short termer Danny Philliskirk scored for Blackpool but they lost 2-1 at Boreham Wood in an FA Cup tie for whom another former short term contract holder Blair Turgot scored in the 68th minute.

Former City loanee Peter Clarke scored for Oldham in a 3-2 defeat at Carlisle United.

Former City striker Frank Nouble scored for Newport in a 2-1 win over Walsall.

Former City forward and midfielder Gary McSheffrey scored for Eastleigh in a 2-2 draw with Chester. The goal in the 53rd minute, was McSheffrey's second since joining the club.

Former City midfielder Sammy Clingan scored a penalty for Glenavon to give them a draw against Coleraine.
