Four Goal Ben Mackey

In the FA Cup, former Coventry City forward Ben Mackey scored four goals as Stratford Town beat Newcastle Town 6-2 in an FA Cup First Qualifying Round Replay at the DCS Stadium.

Mackey had scored in the 5-5 draw on Saturday and was on the scoresheet for the Midland Alliance side in the second minute.

By half-time, it was 4-0 to Stratford, managed by former City youngster Morton Titterton after Mackey completed his hat-trick with goals in the 20th and 37th minute with Mykel Beckley hitting the fourth in the 39th minute.

Beckley hit a fifth four minutes into the second half before the 211 crowd saw Jack Lane pull one back for the Evostick League side in the 55th minute.

Mackey hit his fourth goal of the game in the 81st minute before Anthony Malborn who scored all five of Newcastle's goals on Saturday hit a second for the visitors in the 86th minute.

Danny Glover hit the winner for Nuneaton Town as they won a home Conference North game against Histon 3-2.

Smith put Kevin Wilkin's side ahead with a 20th minute penalty before Lewis Taffe equalised eight minutes later.

Pugh restored Nuneaton's lead in the 42nd minute but seven minutes into the second half, the Cambridgeshire side were level through Sparkes.

With nine minutes remaining, Danny Glover hit the winner to give Nuneaton a 3-2 win and move them into the play-off places.

In the Les James Challenge Cup, Alvis lost 4-1 after extra time at West Midlands Poiice.
