Former Sky Blue Named In TV Programme

Former Coventry City defender Sam Allardyce was tonight named in a BBC Panorama television programme regarding corruption in English football.

The programme claimed were made that 80% of deals have bungs attached to them and as well as saying that eighteen Premiership managers past and present were quoted as being corrupt by people who had dealt with them.

Three agents including Mr Allardyce's son Craig have all denied any wrong doing. Sam Allardyce,currently manager of Bolton Wanderers was quoted by a media source as saying: "We all know we have to be squeaky clean and have every bit of paper to cover ourselves.

The programme only concentrated on clubs in the Premiership.
