Former Coventry City loanee Stephen Warnock is off to the upcoming World Cup after being named in Fabio Cappello's 23 man squad which has named today.
The Aston Villa player, made 44 appearances for the Sky Blues in 2003/04 and pipped Leighton Baines to a place in the final squad for the tournament in South Africa which starts on June 11th.
The England boss has left out Theo Walcott, Darren Bent, Adam Johnson, Scott Parker, Michael Dawson, Tom Huddlestone and Leighton Baines.
