According to the Daily Record, Coventry City have former Ross County defender Brian McLean training with them.

The 29 year old told the Daily Record:  “I had the option of another year with County but it was something I decided not to take up.

“I had a few differences of opinion with Derek Adams so I knew it would be of little benefit to stay. I’m training with Coventry to get into the best shape I can for the next opportunity which comes my way.

“There has been interest from America and it would interest me to move to the States or further afield.

“I’ve played in Scotland’s top flight for years so a change of scene, lifestyle and culture would appeal to me.”
