Around thirty former players were at the Ricoh Arena today for Coventry City Legends Day.

The players, who included the likes of Trevor Lewis, who made his debut in the 1940's, legendary keeper Bill Glazier (pictured below), plus the more modern day Dave Bennett and John Williams, were welcomed by Tim Fisher and Steve Waggott on behalf of the club.

Honourary President Joe Elliott and Chairman Jim Brown also made speeches welcoming the members and associate members of the Coventry City Former Players Association who had organised this excellent day in conjunction with City's hospitality team.

After lunch, the players joined in the remembrance of fellow player Ernie Machin and were presented to the crowd at half-time before treating those in the casino after the game to a rousing chorus of the Sky Blue Song.
