Julian Joachim has completed a move to Boston United. The striker who spent most of his career at Highfield Road out with one injury or another,signed a two year deal with his home town club.

Joachim left Coventry for Leeds United in June 2004 but was told by Elland Road boss Kevin Blackwell that he was not part of his plans for this season, despite having a year left on his contract.

Meanwhile, Chris Neal who trialed with City during the 2004 pre-season tour of Germany could be loaned out by Preston North End. The keeper looks likely to be moving to Chester City for the season.

Marc Edworthy has joined Derby County. The defender was released by Norwich City after they were relegated at the end of last season.
