Former Player Dies

Former Coventry City forward Barry Hawkings died on Sunday.

Hawkings, played for City between 1953 and 1956 and scored twelve goals in 34 games after coming through the ranks at then feeder club Modern Machines.

A member of the Coventry City Former Player Association, Barry died after a short illness aged 78.
