Former Coventry City Academy striker Daniel Sturridge has joined West Bromwich Albion on loan.
Sturridge, who hails from the Birmingham region, was with City's Academy before he had spells with Manchester City and Chelsea which led to a move to Liverpool.
Sturridge has been at Liverpool for five years and made 133 appearances with only fourteen appearances this season due to injury.
The loan of Sturridge who had been wanted by Inter Milan and Roma, according to media reports on Friday, to The Baggies is for the rest of the season.
