Former Coventry City youngster Jamie Spencer has signed for Conference side Kidderminster Harriers.

The twenty one year old has been playing at Redditch United, following spells at Alvechurch and Rushall Olympic and has signed for Kidderminster for the rest of the season.

Jamie is a young lad who we’ve been aware of for a while,” Harriers manager Gary Whild said to his club's website.“He’s a goalscorer and has played a lot at local level, similar to some of the lads who we’ve brought here before.

“Jamie has got a little bit about him too - he understands the game well for a young lad.

“We’d like to give him the opportunity to come in and hopefully fulfil the potential that we see in him - it’s what we’ve done before and it’s worked out well for both the club and the players themselves.

“He hasn’t featured too much for Redditch this season but every time he’s got on the pitch he’s scored, so hopefully he can come here and do well.”
