Former Coventry City Scout Brian Kerr and Coventry born striker James Quinn are the latest people to be interested in becoming the next manager of Northern Ireland.

With Martin O'Neill ruling himself out of the job vacated by Nigel Worthington on Tuesday night, Kerr who was City's Irish scout for a number of years, has been managing the Faroe Islands but fancies moving back to Belfast from where he hails, whilst Quinn, who always wanted to play for Coventry but instead played for the likes of Birmingham, West Brom, Sheffield Wed, Peterborough and Northampton has thrown his hat in the ring along with former Reading player Jimmy Quinn.

Former City manager Iain Dowie is amongst the favourites along with his long time friend Jim Magilton.
