Two former Coventry City players have been named as Player Of The Year For their new clubs.

James Maddison was named as the Norwich City Player Of The Year and picked up his award before Norwich's 2-1 win over Leeds United on Saturday.

Maddison said: "It's one of the best awards you can get. "I got a little bit emotional when my name was read out. I wouldn't say I expected it but I knew I had a good season.

"The fans have appreciated my performances this season. When my name got read out was a great feeling.

"To see everyone on their feet clapping me for everything I've achieved this season, I'll never forget it."

"I wasn't happy to get subbed off to be honest because I wanted a goal! But to see the fans give me a standing ovation as I left the pitch was a great feeling.

"The fans here have been brilliant with me. I can speak highly enough of them."
