Former Coventry City player-manager Gary McAllister could be getting a job with Rangers, according to some media outlets.

Sections of the media are reporting that Steven Gerrard could be installed as the new Rangers boss next week and have with him as his assistant - Gary McAllister, who has also managed at Leeds United and been caretaker manager at Aston Villa

Gerrard turned down MK Dons two years ago and is currently at Liverpool, coaching their U18's side and played with McAllister for Liverpool after the Scot left Highfield Road in 2000.
