Former City Old Boy New Solihull Boss

Former Coventry City loanee and Assistant Manager Tim Flowers has been appointed the new manager of Solihull Moors.

The Kenilworth hailing Flowers, had been assistant at Damson Lane to Mark Yates who has now taken over at Macclesfield Town.

Flowers, who has experience of being assistant manager to Stuart Pearce and Iain Dowie will bring in Gary Whild and told Solihull's club website:  “The great escape ranks as one of my biggest achievement in football and now to have the opportunity to build on everything we achieved last season is the icing on the cake.

“I would like to thank the Board for their confidence both in me and Gary Whild with whom I have an excellent working relationship

“With the pre-season games scheduled in less than three weeks there is much to do and I cannot wait to get started.”
