Former Coventry City youngster Tom Bates is back playing for Coventry Sphinx.
Bates, who was City's youngest ever player when he made his debut in April 2003 against Ipswich Town, has played for a number of clubs and was at Bedworth United last season.
He is no stranger to Sphinx Drive, having played for Sphinx during the club's famous FA Vase run and has featured in Sphinx's pre-season games against Racing Club Warwick, Chasetown and Worcester City.
