Former Coventry City goalkeeper Andy Marshall is the new goalkeeping coach at Charlton Athletic.

Marshall has been a keeper for over twenty years, playing around two hundred times for Norwich City, an FA Cup Final for Millwall in three spells as well as making 59 appearances for the Sky Blues, where he picked up Player Of The Year Awards.

Marshall replaces Lee Turner at Charlton and will team up again with Lee Bowyer, whom he played with at England U18's and U21's level and he told the club website: “I’ve joined a young, dynamic coaching outfit. A young, dynamic team.

"I’ve already had a chat with Lee (Bowyer) and a chat with Jacko about what they want from the goalkeepers, what they want from myself and I’m looking forward to getting started and working with the boys."
