David Stockdale, who played twice for Coventry City last month on emergency loan from Birmingham City is a Director at Droitwich Spa FC.
Stockdale.who played in City's wins at Rochdale and at home to Walsal is helping the West Midlands League side, who are ground--sharing at Stourport Swifts, get a facility which will be at Step 5 level in Droitwich Spa.
The new ground is part of a five year plan which also includes plans for its mens, women's and youth teams to play in the highest leagues in the Midlands and for the facilities to "foster a sense of community, supporting inclusiveness and diversity across all age groups and offer a clear route of progression for boys and girls in the Driotwich Spa area.
