Former City Finance Man Now At MD At Sheffield United

Former Coventry City Interim CEO and Finance Controller Mel Brannigan has been appointed the new Managing Director Of Sheffield United.

Brannigan, arrived at City with Ken Sharpe and Paul Fletcher, keeping an eye on City's finances which were in a mess when he arrived, and has also worked at Hull City and Everton.

Sheffield United Director Scott McCabe said about Brannigan's appointment: "We are delighted to see Mal come on board. He brings great football contacts and the rare combination in the game of operational, commercial and financial experience."
