The daughter of Douglas Graham who was killed in a car crash caused by former Coventry City striker Lee Hughes, who was given a six year prison sentence of which he served half, has said she will never forgive the current Notts County player.

Sharon Montgomery not only lost her dad in the incident in November 2003 but her mum some thirteen months later and a family friend now has to rely on a stick to walk following the accident which Hughes was accused of leaving the scene of.

Speaking to the CT, Mrs Montgomery said:"Because of Hughes' arrogance and stupidity my dad and mum are no longer here.

"He thinks it's hard for him well how would he feel if it was the other way round?

"That night he ran away from one man dead and other fighting for his life.

"He says he had counselling to help him heal. "Heal from what? Guilt? He didn't hang around long enough to see what he had done.

"The only thing I will say about the time I went to see him in prison was that I said I will never forgive him."
