The centre half appears to have been frozen out of the picture at the Ricoh Arena and Ward has already stated that the club have tried to sell the former West Ham man.
There have been rumours over the last week or so, that Ward along with Michael Doyle could be used as part of a deal to prise striker Jermaine Beckford away from Elland Road.
