Nottingham Forest have re-opened talks with former Coventry City defender Stuart Pearce about becoming their new manager.
Pearce rejected Forest last week citing family reasons but the 51 year old former defender who joined Nottingham Forest from the Sky Blues in a deal with Ian Butterworth, is still the prefered choice to replace Billy Davies who was sacked after the 5-0 defeat to local rivals Derby County.
