The loanee who joined from Watford on loan for the rest of the season on Monday has a minor ankle injury and may be left out of today's game against Millwall FC at the Ricoh Arena.
City have captain Jordan Willis serving the first game of his ban following his dismissal at Northampton but should have Andy Rose, Jodi Jones available.
Millwall, who have drawn their last three away games, are expected to have changes from the side which drew 0-0 at home to Walsall on Wednesday night.
Fred Onyedinma and Aiden O'Brien could return as could Shaun Hutchinson.
