Coventry City manager Andy Thorn has said that the Sky Blues have to continue to focus on what they are doing not on other results.
Last night, Doncaster and Bristol City suffered defeats but Portsmouth and Nottingham Forest had big wins and speaking to Sky Blue Player, Thorn said: "We just have to focus on what we're doing and make sure we are right for the game as we are the only people who are going to keep ourselves up.
"It doesn't matter what happens in other games as our run-in can put it in our hands. This game is really important so we can pick something up to just stay around the teams above us.
“We got some massive games coming up at home so a positive result against Cardiff will do us well. We are just going to play the game as we see it.
"Sometimes you have to draw stumps and take things if you can get it. Like the game on Saturday, one moment we could have scored but next they were in our box at the other end."
