Flowers Quits At Stafford

Former Coventry City loanee keeper and Assistant Manager Tim Flowers has resigned as manager of Conference North side Stafford Rangers.

Flowers phoned the Stafford Chairman yesterday afternoon and said that he did not want to continue with a job he was not enjoying and leaves a Stafford side second bottom of the Conference North table.

Former Leicester player and Midland Alliance side Oadby Town manager Matt Elliott has been placed in temporary charge.

Flowers is expected to continue with hia goalkeeping coaching and media work.
