Coventry City manager Tony Mowbray has described the injury to John Fleck as a big blow.
Fleck, failed a late fitness test and did not make the team which drew 0-0 with Notts County on Easter Monday.
The midfielder had been diagnosed with a medial ligament injury and speaking about him to Martin Winch of BBC Coventry & Warwickshire, Tony Mowbray said: "John Fleck was a big loss after failing a fitness test.
"He is a big player for us."
The full extent of the injury and how long Fleck could be out for, has so far not been announced.
