Former Coventry City striker Wayne Andrews is having a trial at Luton Town.

Luton,managed by another former Sky Blue for a bit Mick Harford have offered a chance to the former Watford and Crystal Palace, who did not get a club in the summer after being released by Coventry City.

Darren Huckerby is enjoying his time at San Jose Earthquakes. Not offered a contract by Norwich at the end of last season, the former City striker opted to try his luck in the MLS with San Jose Earthquakes.

Speaking to the Times Online,Huckerby,who has scored six times in eleven games this season, said: ""Playing here is a completely different experience and has been a lot better than my expectations. "I knew the team was struggling and I thought it might be tough playing here, too, but they're a good bunch of lads and took to me straight away.

" "The style of play is very pass-orientated and a lot more attack-minded, which suits me down to the ground. I am really enjoying my football and I think it's showing in what I've achieved so far. "

Robbie Keane is expected to skipper the Republic Of Ireland tomorrow night at Croke Park against Cyprus.
