Coventry City will be without the services of Ben Turner for five to six weeks, it has been announced.

City manager Aidy Boothroyd broke the news after the defeat at Nottingham Forest that Turner (Pictured below) who scored in the 3-2 defeat against Leeds on Saturday and was top of the Actim Index has medial ligament damaged to his left knee. .

There is better news in that Sammy Clingan's injury which forced him off during the loss at Nottingham Forest is not as serious as first thought but the Northern Irish international will see the club's medical staff on Wednesday for a full diagnosis.

More news in that Clive Platt should be back to face Crystal Palace on Saturday. Platt missed the Forest game due to a thigh injury but City Boss Aidy Boothroyd told BBC Coventry & Warwickshire that he should be ok to travel to Selhurst Park.
