Coventry City Chief Executive Tim Fisher has refused to rule out the fact that there may have to be redundancies amongst the club staff.

As mentioned on this site on Monday, staff at the Sky Blues have received letters warning them of possible redundancies and Tim Fisher told the CT's Andy Turner: "We have conducted a very thorough review of all club operations as we promised to do when we were relegated from the Championship.

"We know we have to very significantly cut costs and are now at the stage of deciding in detail how we do that. This stage of the process cannot take long - we have to take action quickly.

"We are communicating with staff about this process and asking them for their ideas as well.

"Nothing has yet been ruled in or out and we will be making further announcements in the next few weeks and when appropriate."
