Fisher: Appeal Should Not Stop Talks

Coventry City CEO Tim Fisher has said that SISU will not drop their right to appeal the Judicial Review decision but that should not stop talks to bring the Sky Blues back to Coventry from going ahead.

Mr Fisher told the Coventry Telegraph's Simon Gilbert: “On Friday, the Football League said the most immediate need is to ‘concentrate on the more pressing issue of getting the club back to the Coventry area within the prescribed timeframe.’

“We completely agree and want to play our part to make this happen. We are ready to come to the table and talk about an interim return the Ricoh.

“The legal action is a totally separate issue and we have a right to appeal. But this does not, and should not, prevent us from discussing a return with all of the interested parties.”
