Coventry City Chairman Tim Fisher has said that Butts Park Arena is still the preferred option.

Mr Fisher said in a heated meeting hosted by the Sky Blue Trust, that going back to BPA keeps the Sky Blues in Coventry and said that he wants active not passive support which gets City back into centre of Cov, club need support from Council, support from the council.

He added that there could a range of incomes from the stadium and a capacity from 12,000 to 25,000 could be possible at the BPA, plus a long term lease and non-match day revenues and said he would look to do a short term rolling deal at the Ricoh Arena as Wasps are part of the mediation.

A long term and short term solution are needed and he had backers to move the club to BPA and that Coventry Rugby Club would continue to own the stadium.

Mr Fisher said that Joy Seppala is hurting, her pride is hurting she feels let down but she's determined to get this club back up and said: "Whilst you call Joy a pig and this and that, without her the club would be gone. Would you take administration today?"

Mr Fisher blamed the club's recruitment and criticised the levels of fitness and said that was meeting Mark Robins on Wednesday to discuss the situation.

Mr Fisher said that the board were going to back Mark Robins and that having a top third budget would work.

Mr Fisher also said that Mark Venus was working on the Academy and may be leaving the club.
