First Goal For A Year For Hendo

Former Coventry City loanee Jordan Henderson scored his first goal for nearly a year when he scored against West Ham in Sunderland's Premier League fixture this afternoon.

Henderson, who has played every league game for The Mackams this season and played the whole ninety minutes on his England debut against France, put Sunderland ahead in the 34th minute of the game at the Stadium Of Light.

The goal, which was Henderson's third for Sunderland, was the only goal of the game and lifted Sunderland to seventh in the table.
