Coventry City meet Chesterfield for the first time in a competitive game at the Ricoh Arena on Sunday since 1961.
This will be Chesterfield’s first ever visit to the Ricoh Arena and the last time they played at Highfield Road in a League game, they were beaten 3-1 on Friday March 3rd 1961.
That was the last of eleven league visits to Highfield Road and sees Coventry City have a record against Chesterfield at Highfield Road of seven wins, two draws and two defeats, which was a 4-2 win in a Third Division North game in April 1926 and a 2-0 win in October 1948.
