Fighting The Jimmy Hill Way Alliance Protest March At The Valley

The various CCFC supporters groups, including the Sky Blue Trust, PSB and Cov Fans Together have united to form the Fight The Jimmy Hill Way Alliance to protest at the way the club is being run and to convince SISU to sell up and leave the club.

The first action of the group will be an organised march at the away match at Charlton on Saturday October 15th. This is being done in conjunction with Charlton’s own protest group CARD, the Coalition Against Roland Duchatelet. CARD have similar aims to Fight The Jimmy Hill Way as they are appalled with the way their club is run and want Duchatelet to sell up too.

The march will be prior to the game with full details of start time and route made available nearer the time but Sky Blue fans are urged to get to the Valley early, in numbers and join in this significant protest.

A spokesperson for the Alliance said “The prospect of two sets of rival supporters working together is rare and is bound to catch the media attention especially being in London. We need publicity to put pressure on Joy Seppala to come to the negotiating table and sell our club. Nine years of total mismanagement is enough and it’s time for SISU to go”

After the protest the SBA will get in the ground and, as ever, fully support the team for 90 minutes.

This is the first of a series of actions by the Alliance and if all Sky Blue supporters come together the desired change of ownership can be achieved and the future of the club assured.
