Fifty Up For Mifsud

Michael Mifsud had a quiet night as he collected his 50th cap for Malta tonight.
The City striker started the European Championship qualifier against Turkey at Ta'Qali in Valletta and fired wide in the fifth minute and was his only shot in the first half.

The George Cross Island scored the opening goal of the game in the 41st minute through Brian Said who netted from a Briffa corner.

Halil Altıntop equalised on the stroke of half-time for Turkey from a right wing cross.

Fourteen minutes from time,Malta went back in front when Schembri netted but back came Turkey who equalised for the second time in the match when
Servet Çetin scored two minutes later.

Deep in stoppage time, Mifsud fired wide as the game finished in a 2-2 draw
