A Coventry City fan was fined £90 by South Cheshire Magistrates yesterday for abusing a ball boy during the 1-0 defeat at Crewe Alexandra.
A 25 year old was charged with a public order offence and pleaded guilty to abusing the ten year old ball boy.
He was fined £90, ordered to pay a victim surcharge of £15 as well as pay the victim £100 compensation.
No banning order was made. However, City have said in a statement that "the club would review the decision of the court before deciding to take any action of its own."
