Aron Gunnarsson's moustache is no more. The midfielder has admitted it made him look like a German porn star.
Being blonde, the moustache didn't show up very well, so he dyed it and had to endure the mickey taking from his fellow team mates. However it was his girlfriend who persuaded him to shave it off.
The player, who turns 21 on Thursday explained, “My missus helped me dye it in the first place because when I grew it it was too light and you couldn’t see it, but she hated it because I looked like a German porn star, especially with my mullet.”
The distinctly eighties style mullet hairdo remains for the time being.
