The Football Association and Football League are considering changes to reduce the fixture list.
The move has come from the Premier League clubs who are concerned that "congested calendar damages their chances in European competitions. The Football Association also has concerns the season leaves the national team tired for summer tournaments."
Things being looked at, according to BBC Sport, including scrapping FA Cup replays and doing away with League Cup Semi-Final's and just making them a one off game.
The scrapping of FA Cup replays is not likely to be before 2018 when the current television deal ends.
