The left footed defender suffered a knee injury which has reduced the anount of matches he has played in.
"Many managers would have got rid of a player with as many injuries but he's been great to me," said O'Holleran to the Birmingham Mail.
"I'm still quite young but I've got a bit of experience that will hold me in good stead for the future."
