Exeter Release Two Former City Players

Exeter City have released two former Coventry City players.

The League Two club, now managed by Matty Taylor, have released former City striker Robbie SImpson, who made 61 appearances for the Sky Blues after joining from Cambridge United in 2007.

Simpson was on the bench for Exeter's 3-1 League Two Play-Off Final defeat to Coventry City at Wembley and is a director of Life After Professional Sport.

The Grecian have also released former City defender Danny Seabourne.

The defender who started his career at Exeter, made five appearances on loan in 13/14 and then 16 appearances in the 14/15 season.

He returned to Exeter last season after playing for Hamilton and Partick Thistle.
